THE WONDER

It's been a great journey choosing a new name for our project. We were Lovati Photography but then there was a need for change. Lovati is my last name (Nathalia), as the brand started with me. But this project is as much about Pedro as it is about me, and we felt the desire to create a concept together, which would bring our personal symbols and something that would immediately translate who we are, the way we live our lives and what we want to share with the world, what our vision is.
And perhaps this is our greatest talent. The vision, the act of seeing.

The Wonder came to us on a relaxing day at our home. We were in our living room, listening to our vinyls, dancing or sitting on the rug in front of the sofa. That was when “I Wonder” by Iseo & Dodosound played, a duo that is very meaningful to us. I always say that I came up with the idea first, but Pedro also says that it was him. But no matter who decided to hold hands first, they both wanted to hold hands.

Confirmation came from exploring the word “Wonder”:
1. a feeling of astonishment and admiration, caused by something beautiful, remarkable or unknown.
2. desire to know something; feel curious.

We have decided. Doubts came, but we learned more and more to trust the process and those choices that were made from the heart.

We had an immense realization and renewed our vows genuinely and spontaneously at the 2023 Boom Festival, where we deeply celebrated radical love. We were together, immersed in our love and we saw a shooting star. There was nothing but that exact moment to desire. It was one of the most special moments of our lives. It was then that we realized that we were in front of a giant portal and everything that happened that day was a great synchronicity of the Universe that brought us our second marriage. We renewed our vows, we confirmed our entire journey there, so many changes that we have allowed to go through and that make us increasingly mature, individuals and partners, in a real construction, without idealism but with a lot of meaning, art and love.

I’ve started with the typography and colors and our graphic designer Ana Siqueira translated everything we are, into the most beautiful symbols and brand we've ever seen.

The Wonder gained color, gained shape. It had a body now.

W O N D E R - a feeling of amazement and awe that arises when we encounter something that is beautiful, mysterious, or extraordinary. It is a feeling that can inspire us, challenge us, and transform our perception of the world.

It inspires creativity, imagination and a sense of possibility. Through our photography, we aim to evoke wonder and transport you to a world beyond the tangible, where the surreal and the impressionist interweave with reality.

But wonder,

is not just limited to the arts. In science, wonder drives our curiosity and our desire to understand the mysteries of the universe. In philosophy, wonder inspires us to contemplate the big questions of life, such as the meaning of existence and the nature of reality. In spirituality, wonder is often associated with a sense of reverence for the divine, and a recognition of the sacredness of all things.

At its essence, wonder is a reminder of the infinite possibilities that exist in the world around us. It encourages us to open our hearts and minds to new experiences, to embrace the unknown, and to be open to the magic of life. In this sense, wonder is not just a feeling, but a way of being in the world, a way of living that is filled with possibility and wonderment.

At the same time, wonder can also be humbling. When we encounter something that is truly awe-inspiring, we are reminded of our own smallness in the face of the vastness of the universe. This can be a humbling and even transcendent experience, one that reminds us of the interconnectedness of all things and our place in the grand scheme of things.

Another great synchronicity was that one day after we received the symbol, we received the photos for the launch from Luana Czuczman and we did the exact gesture of the brand with no clue this was going to happen. Such a magical moment!

We believe that wonder is a catalyst for transformation and growth, and we seek to inspire you to embrace the imperfection, to find beauty in the unscripted and uncontrolled moments. Our approach is to capture the raw, authentic moments that make your day uniquely yours, and to highlight the beauty in imperfection.

At The Wonder we believe that our photography has the power to inspire, to transform, and to transport our clients to new realms of beauty and wonder.

We’re always having the realization that I am the Moon, the water, the night. Pedro is the Sun, the fire, the day. This is now in our brand design, it is a big beautiful fusion between elements that is exactly what makes our connection special.
